He graduated from Faculty of Divinity, Ondokuz Mayıs University, in 1992. In 1994, he received his MA degree, with a dissertation entitled "The Problem of Evil in Contemporary British Philosophy" at the Institute of Social Sciences, Ondokuz Mayıs University. In 1998, he completed his PhD study, with a thesis entitled "The Philosophical and Empirical Evidence for Belief in Life After Death" at the same institute. He works, currently, as a lecturer at Faculty of Divinity, Ondokuz Mayıs University.
